October 16th - Hope and Glory

Hope and Glory follows a young boy's coming-of-age in wartime London, where the Blitz transforms his suburban world into a mix of danger, excitement, and unexpected freedom. Told with warmth, humor, and a child’s sense of wonder, it blends autobiographical detail with vivid period recreation. Notable for its stellar cast, richly authentic set design, and heartfelt storytelling, the film earned widespread acclaim, multiple awards, and praise for balancing the horrors of war with nostalgic, often comic, memories.
